2009 Gibson Les Paul Standard ’58 Reissue VOS in Tobacco/Bourbon Sunburst, a lovely example of Gibson’s Custom Shop craftsmanship. This one has a classic plain Maple top that really suits the dark burst finish, paired with a single piece Mahogany body and neck, Rosewood fingerboard and the usual Standard appointments. 
The guitar is in very good condition overall, showing only light signs of use. The big ’58 profile neck is every bit as chunky as you’d expect, filling the hand without being unwieldy, and giving the guitar a solid feel. Electronics remain stock with a set of Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups delivering a very nice late-’50s voice - warm and rounded in the neck, with plenty of bite and clarity at the bridge, and a nicely balanced middle position.
Complete with its original brown hard case, certificate of authenticity and tags, this is a very good example of a popular reissue model.
