This 2005 Limited Edition Esquire Relic is a rare and unconventional take on the classic Esquire formula. Built as part of a small-batch run it blends vintage looks and feel with some non-period correct appointments to set it apart from the crowd! 
Finished in a beautifully aged 3-tone sunburst that has been subtly aged with lacquer checking, subtle arm and edge wear, and tastefully aged hardware. The 3-ply black pickguard adds a nice contrast to the sunburst finish and hints at the model’s custom character.
The addition if a neck pickup makes it functionally closer to a Telecaster, but with the Esquire Custom designation proudly displayed on the headstock decal. The Maple neck has a comfortable mid-’60s carve offering a familiar and easy playing feel.
Tone wise this one delivers the signature twang and sustain that Tele and Esquire fans love. Despite the dual pickups, the 3-way selector switch operates in standard Telecaster fashion—bridge, middle (both), and neck—giving access to a range of classic Fender tones from sharp bite to rounded warmth.
