1969 Fender Stratocaster, Refin White
A killer-looking 1969 Fender Stratocaster, refinished in white, capturing that unmistakable Hendrix-era look with plenty of vibe and tone to match! This is a 4-bolt neck model with rosewood fingerboard, pearl dot inlays, big headstock/black logo - a cool era-defining configuration—and with just enough changes to keep it in the player-grade price range.
The refin has been aged with some nice, wide lacquer checking and dings throughout. The neck has been refretted and the nut replaced and overall the guitar is setup nicely and is playing very well.
Under the hood you’ll find a trio of original grey bottom pickups, delivering everything from scooped, glassy cleans to more midrange-focused bite when pushed—classic late-'60s Strat tone with loads of dynamic range and power. It's had some work done to the wiring, the CTS tone pots date to ’69, though there’s messy solder on the volume pot making the code illegible. The saddles and trem plate have also been changed.
If you're after that late-’60s Strat sound and feel without chasing a collector-grade example, this one delivers big time. It’s got the look, the tone, and the neck feel that make this era so sought after, and it’s all wrapped up in a well executed restoration that wears its age well. A very cool Strat from a legendary period. Comes in a modern hard case.
